Adding a custom message on your receipt is an easy way to communicate a message, share important information or to simply express gratitude. We let you add a message to a specific page or organization-wide. Here are a few examples of how you can use our custom receipt feature:
🎟️ Remind your payers to bring a copy of their receipt to an event as proof of purchase
🙏 Thank your donors and include your tax ID
📃 Share a link to an important document or website with more information about your event
To customize your receipts, follow the steps below:
✅ Go to the Receipt tab in Settings
💡To customize across all pages, add the message in Organization Settings
💡To customize a message for one page, add the message in Page Settings
✅ Click Save
If your organization only collects donations, you can add your message in Organization settings and it will apply and display on all donor receipts across all of your donation pages.
If you are collecting payments for different reasons like membership fees, ticket sales and donations and you need to share a specific message to each group, you can add the receipt message at the page level.
You can add a link to a website or an external document like a google document. You’ll need to include the full link rather than a hyperlink.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
