Q: What percentage of the donations or fundraiser does Omella keep?

Omella doesn’t take a percentage of the proceeds. If you decide to pass credit card fees onto the payer and leave tips on, your organization won’t incur any fees and will keep 100% of the donations or fundraising dollars. Q: Will Omella provide a receipt to each donor?

Yes, every payer will receive a receipt to the email address entered during check out. The receipt will display your organization’s logo, amount donated and you can customize to include your organization’s tax identification number.

Q: How can I send the donation page to supporters who have donated in the past?

If you have the email addresses of past supporters, you can email them a link to the donation payment page. The donor can click on the link and will be automatically directed to the Omella donation page.

Q: Can I customize the branding of the donation pages and ask questions too?

Yes, you can add your custom logo or cover page, add text to explain what you'll use the funds for and you can ask questions all at the same time.

Q: How can I use a donation page for my organization?

To create a general fundraising page, go to the space you are looking to host this in and click on the fundraising template. This will populate a page for you to collect donations at any time. You can send it out to donors for a fundraiser, link it on you main website for year round donations, or you can create something specific based on the needs for this funding. Make sure to update the dates it should be open, add a goal (if that’s important to you) and change the donation amounts to align with that your community has given in the past.
